UPDATE: For the first time in 26 years, the May Day Fairie Festival had to cancel the final day, Sunday May 7, due to safety issues. Although we understand that some of you may be disappointed you did not get to attend, please know that our team is heartbroken, and currently working on recovering from the devastation of the cancellation. Please bear in mind that this annual event is not only a fun celebration, but it is also the primary fundraiser for Spoutwood Farm Center, a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational farm. Fairie Festival supports the Farm’s operations year-round. We are working on our refund and cancellation policy for all ticket holders who were unable to attend and we will share that information as soon as possible. Please check the email that you used when you purchased your tickets for messages from Spoutwood Farm. Be sure to watch your SPAM and JUNK filters to be safe. We will also update our Facebook pages and events as soon as we send out the ticketing update to ticket holder emails. Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated during this process. Please share this message with anyone you know that has concerns about the status of the refund process. Kubiando!

The Fairie Festival (also known as the May Day Fairie Festival, or Pennsylvania Fairie Festival) is the music and arts festival currently held annually at Spoutwood Farm, that began in 1991.  The festival’s primary theme is to “celebrate the beginning of spring and all of the faerie and nature spirits’ return to the warm world”.

The May Day Fairie Festival is the brainchild of Rob and Lucy Wood, owners of Spoutwood Farm, an organic farm in the Community Supported Agriculture movement.  It began as a tea party for about 100 friends and their children, and attendance has grown to over 12,000 “friends” annually. Previously a one-day festival, a second day was added in 1997; a third, in 1999. The festival features artists and authors from around the world, local and international musicians and crafters whose work is connected to or inspired by folklore, specifically faerie lore.
